Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the western in an awesome game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not need to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals taking their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices are able to take their time and plan without having to make quick selections.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with only a small amount of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino's.
