Phil Ivey has been labeled as the greatest poker competitor on the globe by quite a few of the top pros. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching the age of one. Phil credits his success to hard work and an eternal love for the game of poker. Phil says that he's learning every single day and is very humble about his accomplishments. He knows he makes mistakes in each session of poker and constantly strives to get better.

Despite the fact that Phil has come first in some big-time tournaments, he prefers winning money games on a normal basis.
