Recently, I received a question from one of my students. It stated, "What precisely is pot odds and is Holdem pot odds system worth pursuing?"

One issue to remember, any type of Holdem probabilities can and usually do obtain very confusing. Nevertheless, let me break pot probabilities down in extremely straightforward terms. Please note that we are only discussing Pot Odds. Not outs, implied odds, easy probabilities or something else like that.
