Beyond a doubt countless of people strive to be the next "big thing" in poker, but here is a short list of 4 of the more noteworthy "nice players" of the game. Even though "nice" is connected with their names when you are sitting accross the table from them it's "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have put you out of the game!

Daniel Negreanu

In 2004, his tourney winnings amounted to more than $4.4 million and he came away with 2 highly respected awards in the WSOP Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine's Tournament Player of the Year. In Feb 2006 he was chosen Card Player's Preferred Poker Player. Daniel even still has the humility to talk with his fans about how they will be able to improve their own game.

Howard Lederer

Known as "The Professor" and sibling of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His achievements have allowed him to make an instructional video named "Secrets of No Limit Hold'em" and co hosting a tournament poker show for Fox. As of 2005, his total life time winnings exceed $2.7 million.

Scotty Nguyen

Scotty is one of the busiest players in professional poker and from Two Thousand to Two Thousand and Four he placed in the money in more than 100 tournaments. He is noted for saying "yeah baby" during poker games and also coined the term "that's poker baby" when alluding to a particularly bad beat. As of 2006, his life time winnings are just about 6 million dollars.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has earned five World Series of Poker titles with 2 of his successes happening in Two Thousand and Three. Chris has the nickname "Jesus" due to his characteristic long hair and beard, that, and along with his ability to toss playing cards quick enough to slice through bananas and pickles. As of 2005 his total poker tournament winnings exceeded 5 million dollars.
